Leaf Removal

·        The 2011 Fall Leaf pickup program will start the week of October 24, 2011 and will continue thru December 9, 2011.  We ask that all loose leaves be put out at the property edge. Please do not block sidewalks with leaves for this presents an unsafe condition for pedestrians. All leaf piles should be clear of brush, rocks, sticks and debris.

·        Biodegradable bags can be picked up at the D.P.W. garage, 359-1717, during normal work hours free of charge to all village residents.                                                   (Leaves put out in plastic bags will not be accepted).

·        The Village of Piermont encourages the use of biodegradable bags for the protection of the environment.
